American Board of Radiology administers
the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program in diagnostic radiology.
Below is a synopsis of the four requisites of the MOC program, along
with a listing of the resources offered by ASNR to assist neuroradiologists
in meeting these requirements. For a more detailed explanation of the
requirements, please see ABR's diagnostic
radiology MOC requirements page.
Part

ASNR has developed materials to support a neuroradiology
PQI in the area of standardized nomenclature for MR of lumbar disk disease. Basic information on the PQI process, as well as a smaple project are presented at http://www.asnr.org/pqi.
If you currently participate in a PQI efforts and

CME Gateway
(www.cmegateway.org)
The CME Gateway is a cooperative effort amont eight radiology organizations to create
a single website where radiologists can automatically track their
CME and SAM credits earned. This website is free to use and greatly
reduces the efforts of record-keeping and reporting of credits. Participants
can choose to have CME and SAM credits automatically reported through
the Gateway to the ABR for MOC purposes, eliminating the need to manually
document MOC compliance
